Michael Munoz Week 1 Blog post

Vector Art is art that uses mathematical equations such as geometry. Geometry uses shapes as does vector art but vector art uses the shapes to fill in a certain color in a specific shape. The first picture that I had chose, I feel like it is relating to me a little bit right now. This picture I believe shows all three parts. But I also believe this form of art shows someone that is not happy with himself and he is trying to change for the better of himself. The best thing about it is that you can make it about anything, you do not just have to say it is only one thing. But what I think the artist of this trying to say is that he is hurting so bad that he does not like himself, and he is not to happy with himself. I honestly found the game very fun, very frustrating and a good first experience. I found some patterns easier than others like the car was easy for me. But the wrench had me very frustrated. I guess it was hard to only have so many moves to complete a picture. It took me a while to complete all 11 but it felt good to figure it out. The curves were the hardest part for me because some curves did not go the way that I wanted them to go but I eventually figured it out.

05 Week- Project 3

I learned that there are six different types of Icon styles. They are outline icons, filled icons, glyph icons, flat icons, hand drawn icons and skeuomorphic icons. Outline icons is the easiest way to start drawing for beginners and they are icons that are just outlined from an icon. Filled icons is the next step you would take after outlines which is becoming popular. Glyph are just solid icons. Flat icons usually uses "flat" colors. It is just gives more of a variety of outline icons. Hand drawn icons are just hand drawn. Skueomorphic is making it look very realistic. I learned a lot from icon design but what I can take the most out of Icon design is that a picture speaks so much louder than words. An icon gives so much because no matter what language you speak everyone can understand an icon. I thought the Skueomorphic style was so cool it actually made the icon stand out the most and the texture to detail was amazing. I went on pinterest to find some icons and I fou...
