week 1 blog computer graphics

This is the final edit to my fruit. I rearranged some of the triangles so there were not a gaps. I had edit it a lot because there were a lot of gaps when I zoomed in. I hope it is better than my first version. Trying to maneuver all the triangles so they can all fit was the hardest part but I figured it out there were a lot of spaces in the apple and the stem not so much the leaf. But I believe my work has been approving.

I started off project 3 really bad in my opinion terrible. I knew I had to change something as soon as I saw my classmates projects. As time went on I believe that my projects had gotten better slowly but surely I added things tried to make things more creative to try and make the fruits more unique. I believe that I need to work on the pear the most I need to use some gradient fill for the brown spots because some pears have brown spots on them so I need to make that more realistic. I think my grapes are good I made some water marks on the grapes because I thought that would make it better. For my apple maybe I should have a worm come out of it or not. Make the gradient fill better for the apple. The lowest grade on my project was a 0.1. I want to make that grade higher to get a better grade. I belive I did a good job on my assignment. I believe using the gradient fill makes every fruit stand out way more. I learned a lot from doing this assignment, I may not be the best at all my assignments but I believe I am moving forward with this class. I know I am not perfect but I am taking more steps forward. The first poster that I found very interesting. The artist uses the red and blue perfectly and he uses different shades of white to make the man stand out more. I chose this poster because the color of the human and the background make everything stand out more.  The second poster that I am choosing was made from adobe illustrator. I find it very interesting because the colors make the poster. The attention to detail fro this poster is amazing. How the author reflects the astronaut is amazing. Using a different form of the basic symbol of "recycle." I used something more to catch my audiences attention because just using one basic symbol, that we will see in everyday life. I used three symbols to "renew, reuse and recycle" because you really do not see these form of art it will catch the attention of most audiences.

I learned a lot from the color wheel, more than I knew before it was very interesting to read and learn about color. I learned about primary colors in which they are not made from other colors. Secondary colors in which each are made from equal amount of the nearest primary colors and tertiary colors. I also learned what tints and shades are. A shade is the color itself adding black to it and the tint is the color adding white to it.  The first picture that I believe the background is complimentary color, it makes the zebra stand out more and it is on the opposite side of the wheel color.  I believe that these three all complementary colors is because they all on the opposite side of the color wheel. They make the pears stand out with complementing one another.  The last image that I am using in which I see in complementary colors.
